Abstract:
A lid opening/closing device 10 comprises: a base 20 that includes a bearing unit 24; a receiving unit 15 that is attached to the base 20; a lid 25 that closes an opening 3; an arm 30 that includes a pivoting part 31a which is pivotably supported by the bearing unit 24 and a distal end part 32a which is continuously connected to the lid 25; a first gear 43 that transmits driving force received from a drive source 41 to the pivoting part 31a of the arm 30 to cause same to rotate; a second gear 44 that interlocks and rotates with the first gear 43; a lock member 35 that can be moved by a cam 45 of the second gear 44; an engagement part 32b which is provided to the arm 30 and with which the lock member 35 engages; and a differential mechanism 50 for causing the start of rotation of the pivoting part 31a to be delayed with respect to the start of rotation of the first gear 43 when the arm 30 at a retracted position is caused to rotate to an advanced position.
