Abstract:
Using the disclosed lid for a hot-water-injection food container, a seal can be ensured between the lid and the container without having to use a plate or the like to ensure a seal between the container and a removed lid. The container (10) has a main body (14), inside which food is stored, and a flange (16), which protrudes outwards from the top outer rim of the main body. The lid (30) seals the inside of the container (10). A protrusion (36) that protrudes further outwards than the top outer edge of the container (10) is formed on the lid (30). After hot water is put inside the container (10), the protrusion (36) is bent towards the bottom surface (4) of the flange (16) and the side wall (42) of the main body (14), preventing the lid (30) from coming off the container (10).
