Abstract:
Provided is a lid stand that is capable of accommodating a lid of a sealed rotating container of a centrifugal smearing device in a leaning state such that dripping is prevented without talking up a large amount of space on a table, and that is capable of reducing the risk of touching a liquid specimen for both left- and right-handed operators. A lid stand (1) according to the prevent invention props up a lid (142) that is fitted to a sealed rotating container (134) of a centrifugal smearing device (130) and that has, in a peripheral part (142d), a flange part (151) that protrudes in the radial direction and a cylindrical scattering protection wall (160) that protrudes towards the rear. Therein, a central support member (10) having, on both one side and the other side thereof, upper support parts (12) for supporting a center vicinity part (142c) of the lid (142) is disposed in a central position, and lateral support members (20) having lower support parts (22) for supporting the peripheral part (142d) of the lid (142) are disposed at positions to both one side and the other side of the central support member (10).
