Abstract:

Provided are: a lid for a storage battery, configured so that an external lead wire can be connected without requiring the insertion of a nut into the cavity of a terminal and so that the nut is prevented from dropping; a method for injection-molding the lid; a storage battery provided with the lid; and a terminal section for a storage battery. Provided is a lid for a storage battery, consisting of a synthetic resin and having insert-molded thereon a terminal section (8) for a storage battery, the terminal section (8) comprising: a terminal (4) which has a cavity; a bushing (6); and a conduction section (7) which connects the terminal (4) and the bushing (6). Also provided is a storage battery provided with the lid. In the lid and the storage battery, an anchor section (4T) is provided in a protruding manner to the terminal (4) in the portion of the bottom section (4F) thereof which excludes at least the center of the bottom section (4F), and a nut is inserted in and affixed to the cavity section of the terminal. Also, in the terminal section for a storage battery, an anchor section (4T) is provided in a protruding manner to the terminal (4) in the portion of the bottom section (4F) thereof which excludes at least the center of the bottom section (4F) (for example, a U-shaped anchor section (4T) is caused to protrude with a U-shaped connection section (4G) therebetween).
