Abstract:
A LiDAR sensor comprises: a light-emitting unit; an indirect time of flight (iTOF) sensor including a plurality of pixels; and one or more processors for outputting, through the light-emitting unit, light of a first frequency and light of a second frequency that is higher than the first frequency, while the LiDAR sensor is rotating, and, if the output light of the first frequency and the output light of the second frequency are reflected from an object and received by the plurality of pixels, acquiring a first pixel value on the basis of the reflected light of the first frequency, acquiring a second pixel value on the basis of the reflected light of the second frequency, using the reliability of the first pixel value so as to identify a third pixel value from the first pixel value, using the reliability of the second pixel value, which is determined on the basis of the magnitude of the second pixel value, so as to identify a plurality of fourth pixel values from the second pixel value, and identifying the distance between the LiDAR sensor and the object.
