The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lidded container such that joined parts easily separate at positions where joining avoidance mechanisms are disposed. The lidded container comprises: a container including a body section defining a storage section for storing contents and a flange section continuously connected to an upper part of the body section along the entire circumference; a lid disposed on the upper surface of the flange section so as to cover the storage section of the container; and joined parts continuously formed between the upper surface of the flange section and the lower surface of the lid along the entire circumference and joining the upper surface of the flange section and the lower surface of the lid together to seal the storage section of the container from the outside. The flange section has a pair of first-side parts extending in a first direction, a pair of second-side parts extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and corner parts located between the first-side parts and the second-side parts. Joining avoidance mechanisms for preventing formation of joined parts between the upper surface of the flange section and the lower surface of the lid are disposed at least partly on the outer edges of the corner parts of the flange section or at positions where the outer edge parts of the lid overlap with the corner parts of the flange section.
