Abstract:
A toilet seat (1) having an attaching means (7) for releasably attaching the toilet seat (1) to a toilet bowl (2), wherein the toilet seat (1) is made of any thermosetting or thermoplastic material such as but not limited to duroplast (UF), polypropylene or ABS, wherein the attaching means (7) comprises an elongated protrusion (71) that engages with adjustable tensioning means (8) comprising an elastic mechanism (9), such that a pulling force on the toilet seat (1) in a direction substantially parallel to the elongated protrusion (71) releases the tensioning means (8) and allows detaching the toilet seat (1) from the toilet bowl (2).
