Abstract:
A lifter for a wheelchair, providing improved comport for an occupant of the wheelchair without an increase in costs. A lifter for a wheelchair is constructed so that the wheelchair can be placed and fixed to a predetermined position on a platform surface (22u), and the lifter is provided with a platform (20) received in the interior of a vehicle and also with moving mechanisms (30, 40) for moving the platform (20) between a received position in the vehicle interior and a getting on/off position on the ground. On the platform surface (22u) of the platform (20) is arranged a left and right pair of wheel support sections (50) on which left and right wheels (BK) of the wheelchair are respectively placed when the wheelchair is fixed. The left and right pair of wheel support sections (50) is constructed so as to be able to absorb vertical vibration of the vehicle.
