Abstract:

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a lifting apparatus that has a high conveyance efficiency and occupies a small floor space. Provided is a lifting apparatus which comprises lifting guides (6a, 6b, 6c, 6d), guidance guides (7a, 7b, 7c, 7d) and lifting platforms (8a, 8b). The lifting platforms (8a, 8b) each include a placement platform (13). Lifting members (12) of the lifting platforms (8) can be lifted and lowered along the lifting guides (6). The guidance guides (7) have a curved shape and engagement units (52) that engage with the guidance guides (7) have a degree of freedom in a horizontal direction. The lifting members (12) are guided by the lifting guides (6) and move only in a vertical direction, whereas the engagement units (52a, 52b) also move in a horizontal direction and cause the placement platforms (13) to move. The two lifting platforms (8a, 8b) pass each other without colliding.
