A lifting device for load receiving platform has an extension position adjustment device (50) in which an adjustment member is installed and by which a slide rear end is defined by causing a movable side support member (110) to be in contact with the adjustment member, the adjustment member is movable in the forward/backward direction relative to and is fixable relative to a slide rail (101) that is a part of a fixed side support member (100). Moving the position of the slide rear end by the extension position adjustment device (50) enables variation in the position in height of a load receiving platform lifting. Even if the position of mounting of the lifting device is constant, the lifting end position of the load receiving platform can be matched to a floor height that varies depending on kinds of vehicles. As a consequence, regardless of kinds of vehicles, the lifting device can always be mounted on the same position on the vehicle side, and this can reduce mounting time.
