Abstract:
Provided is a light adjustment device, comprising: substrates (1, 2) whereupon apertures for light transmission are formed respectively and which are positioned in parallel; a rotating axle member (6) which is capable of rotating about an axis which is perpendicular to the substrates (1, 2) and of moving in the axial direction; a light adjustment unit (7) which is fixed integrally with the rotating axle member (6) in a space between the substrates (1, 2), moves between an insertion position and a withdrawal position in line with the rotation of the rotating axle member (6), and adjusts light which is transmitted through the apertures; and a retaining member (11) which regulates the rotation of the light adjustment unit (7) which has moved toward the substrate (1) side within the space from the insertion and withdrawal positions, and allows the rotation of the light adjustment unit (7) which has moved toward the substrate (2) side within the space.
