Abstract:
A light-beam control member according to the present invention includes: an entrance face via which light radiated from a light-emitting element enters the light-beam control member, the entrance face constituting an inner face of a first concave portion located on the light-emitting element side so as to intersect the central axis of the light-beam control member; and an exit face from which the light that has entered the light-beam control member via the entrance face is radiated to the outside, the exit face being located so as to intersect the central axis and on the reverse side of the entrance face. The exit face includes: a first exit face constituting an inner face of a second concave portion located so as to intersect the central axis; and a second exit face constituting a convex curved face located so as to surround the first exit face. The second exit face has multiple, circular ring-shaped convex portions disposed concentrically about the central axis and projecting in the direction along the central axis. The pitch of the convex portions in the direction perpendicular to the central axis in a cross section including the central axis is constant.
