Abstract:
Provided are a light controller capable of efficiently extracting light by suppressing attenuation by means of controlling light, a lamp, a lighting device, and a plant cultivation apparatus that uses the lighting device. The lighting device (10) is provided with a light bulb-type lamp (20) and a device body (30) into which a cap (211) of the lamp (20) is inserted. The lamp (20) is provided with a lamp body (21) on which the cap (211) is formed, and a globe (22) mounted on the lamp body (21). The globe (22) is a spherical bulb and functions as a light controller. The globe (22) is provided with a transparent member that serves as protective cover, and a light-controlling layer that is formed on the light-emitting element side (inside) of the transparent member. The light-controlling layer is provided with, in order in the light-emitting direction from the light-emitting element (213), a fluorescent coating layer that is excited by the light from the light-emitting element (213) and emits light that has undergone wavelength conversion, a phosphorescent coating layer that stores light from the light-emitting element (213) and emits light, and a diffusion coating layer that diffuses the light from the light-emitting element (213).
