Abstract:
This light-controlling element is provided with an illumination unit capable of controlling the amount of emitted light, and a light guide which receives the light emitted from the illumination unit. The light guide has a function whereby the light is completely reflected and propagated on the interior thereof, and a function whereby the light emitted from the illumination unit is propagated with a plurality of different propagation angles within the light guide. The light guide has a plurality of light emission regions which have a function whereby the light is emitted to the outside. At least two of the light emission regions have mutually different incidence angle ranges in which the light can be emitted to the outside.
