Abstract:
A light deflection device (400) is provided with a light deflection element (401) and a compensating optical element (402). The light deflection element (401) deflects input light in a first direction (voltage application direction) , which is the direction in which a voltage is applied (one-dimensional scan). The compensating optical element (402) is an element that has an entry surface and an exit surface and is for compensating a deflection offset of deflected light that has been deflected by the light deflection element (401) and has entered from the entry surface in a second direction, perpendicular to the first direction and to the optical axis of entering light. As a result of the foregoing, the advancement directions of compensated light exiting from the exit surface are on the same plane.
