Abstract:
Provided is a light detecting apparatus in which optical element corrosion can be suppressed while suppressing upper layer color mixture. The present invention comprises a substrate on which a plurality of photoelectric conversion parts are formed, a plurality of optical elements which are disposed on the back surface side of the substrate, and a microlens array which includes a plurality of microlenses that are disposed on the back surface side of the plurality of optical elements. The optical elements contain a metal material. The optical-element-side surface of the microlens array is formed so as to contact and cover the back surface of the optical elements, and the microlens array also serves as a protective film that suppresses corrosion of the metal material of the optical elements.
