Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a light receiving/emitting device and a light detection method with which light detection accuracy can be increased. The light receiving/emitting device (1) is provided with: a diode-type light emitting element (11) formed on a semiconductor substrate (15); a diode-type light receiving element (13) formed on the semiconductor substrate (15); a light source drive unit (17) which supplies a first common voltage to a cathode electrode (112) or an anode electrode (113) of the light emitting element (11) to drive the light emitting element (11); and a light signal processing unit (19) which subjects an output electric current output from the light receiving element (13) to I/V-conversion with reference to a second common voltage.
