Abstract:
Disclosed is a light diffusion film having a base material film and a light diffusion layer. At the time of projecting a laser beam having a wavelength of 543.5 nm to the base material film side of the light diffusion film from the direction tilted 30° from the normal line direction of the light diffusion film, the ratio of I30 (the output intensity of the laser beam in the normal line direction on the light diffusion layer side) to I0 (input intensity of the laser beam) is set at 0.0035 % or lower, and the light diffusion film has sufficient light diffusing characteristics and a high front contrast of a display image. A light diffusing polarization plate and a liquid crystal display device, which use the light diffusion film, are also disclosed.
