Abstract:
A viewing angle enlargement system (light diffusion member) according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a substrate having permeability to light; and a plurality of structural bodies having conical shapes which are formed on the substrate. Each structural body is configured from a light absorbing body having a conical shape and a reflecting film which is shaped along an inclined plane of the light absorbing body. A region in a first face of the substrate other than the structural body forming region is treated as a light permeable region, and the plurality of structural bodies are positioned randomly when viewed from a direction of a normal of the first face of the substrate.
