The present invention reduces the cost of manufacturing a light emission device by making it possible for a lens array including a plurality of shared lenses to be used as a lens array for collecting light from each of a plurality of light emission parts irrespective of the number of light-emitting elements included in each of the light emission parts. A light emission device has: a substrate; a plurality of light emission parts disposed on the substrate; and a lens array disposed on the plurality of light emission parts, the lens array including a plurality of lenses disposed in correspondence with each of the light emission parts, the lenses collecting light emitted from the corresponding light emission parts. Each of the light emission parts has a plurality of light-emitting elements connected to each other in series and in parallel at a number of serial connections and a number of parallel connections that are set for each light emission part, on a mounting region having a common shape among a plurality of light emission parts, the light-emitting elements being mounted on the substrate in the form of a lattice.
