Abstract:
A light emission device (100A) comprises a first solid-state light source (50) that emits a blue first excitation light (51), a second solid-state light source (60) that emits a green second excitation light (61), and a wavelength conversion body (30). The wavelength conversion body comprises: a first phosphor layer (10) that includes a first phosphor that absorbs blue light and emits a green first fluorescence, and a second phosphor layer (20) that includes a second phosphor that absorbs blue-green light and emits a red second fluorescence. In the light emission device, the first excitation light is irradiated onto the first phosphor layer, and the second excitation light is irradiated onto the second phosphor layer. The output light of the light emission device includes the first excitation light and the second excitation light, and the first fluorescence and the second fluorescence. A part of the first excitation light passes through the first phosphor layer and the second phosphor layer to constitute the output light, and a part of the second excitation light is reflected by the second phosphor layer to constitute the output light.
