Abstract:
This light-emission element includes: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a first organic layer provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a second organic layer provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The first organic layer is obtained using a composition which includes a compound represented by formula (H-A) (in formula (H-A): ZA represents a group represented by -N(RZA)-, sulfur, oxygen, or the like; RZA and RZ1-RZ4 represent hydrogen or substituents, with the caveat that at least one among RZ1-RZ4 is a monovalent heterocyclic ring group; Z1-Z4 represent carbon or nitrogen; and ring RHA represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring or an aromatic heterocyclic ring), and a metal complex represented by formula (1) (in formula (1): M represents iridium, platinum, or the like; n1 represents an integer of at least 1; n2 represents an integer of at least 0; n1+n2 is 2 or 3; E1A-E4A and E2 represent nitrogen or carbon; R2A, R3A, and R4A represent hydrogen or substituents; ring R1A represents a triazole ring; ring RB represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring or an aromatic heterocyclic ring; and A1-G1-A2 represents an anionic bidentate ligand). The second organic layer is obtained using a polymer compound including a structural unit having a crosslinking group.
