Abstract:
A light emission measurement device is provided, inside a light blocking chamber 1006, with: a container rack 1003 for accommodating holding containers 101; a dispensing mechanism 2001 for dispensing liquid; a rotating plate 1005 that rotates, holds, around a common center, a plurality of reaction containers 104 containing a liquid mixture of a sample and a light-emitting reagent, and has a gap through which the container rack 1003 can pass provided between at least one pair of adjacent reaction containers 104; and a light detection unit 2013 that measures light emission. The light blocking chamber 1006 has an insertion opening 1008 that has a width through which the container rack 1003 can be inserted and is provided so as to be capable of being opened and closed. On the inside of the area through which the reaction containers 104 pass during rotation, the rotating plate 1005 has an area in which the container rack 1003 can be placed, and the rotating plate 1005 is provided so as to be rotatable in a state where the light blocking chamber 1006 is closed.
