Abstract:
The invention makes it possible to offer an entire selection of headwear of existing designs as light emitting headwear. An insertion strip facing the inside surface of the headwear and a protruding strip protruding outwards from the headwear are made to cross and are bound at the crossing positions. Light emitting diodes are embedded inside of the protruding strip. The light emitter for headwear is configured such that the luminescent spots of said light emitting diodes are prominently visible on the surface of the outer circumference of the protruding strip. The crossing positions of the insertion strip and the protruding strip are connected in the width direction of the insertion strip and the protruding strip in an arched curve. The multiple light emitting diodes are disposed along the edge of the outer circumference of the protruding strip, which protrudes away from the insertion strip. The electric circuit components connecting to the light emitting diodes may be built into either the insertion strip or the protruding strip. A switch for flashing the light emitting diodes is disposed on the reverse side of the protruding strip, towards the back of the insertion strip.
