This light emitting apparatus is provided with: a substrate (18); light emitting elements (60a, 60b), which are provided on the front surface (65) of the substrate (18), and are connected in parallel to each other; light emitting elements (60e, 60f), one of which is connected in series to the light emitting element (60a), and the other one of which is connected in series to the light emitting element (60b), said light emitting element being connected parallel to each other; a metal pattern (67a), which is provided on the rear surface (28) of the substrate (18) such that the metal pattern is continuously positioned below the light emitting elements (60a, 60b); and a metal pattern (67b), which is provided such that the metal pattern is continuously positioned below the light emitting elements (60e, 60f). The metal pattern (67b) is separated from the metal pattern (67a).
