Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a light emitting device, which can suppress a quantity of irradiation light to a portion of a subject to be irradiated with light in order to irradiate the subject with uniform intensity light, said portion being a part of a circumferential edge portion of a subject region to be irradiated with light and being close to a light emitting section; an illuminating device; and a display device. A backlight unit (1) is provided with: a printed board (12); a plurality of light emitting sections (111), each of which has a base (111b), an LED chip (111a), and a lens (112); and a reflecting member (113), which surrounds each of the light emitting sections (111), and has a first wall section (11511), and a second wall section (11512).
