Abstract:
The disclosed light-emitting device (10) is provided with a light-emitting element (11), a package (13) that contains the light-emitting element (11), and a sealant (14) that seals the light-emitting element (11). The package (13) has: a base (13B) that holds the light-emitting element (11); and a frame (13A) that extends upwards from the base (13B) so as to surround the light-emitting element (11). The sealant (14) plugs the region surrounded by the frame (13A). The frame (13A) has a protruding wall (15) that protrudes upwards from the top surface (132a) of the frame (13A) so as to surround the light-emitting element (11).
