Abstract:
Disclosed is a low-cost, yield-oriented surface-mount light-emitting device provided with: an insulating film (2); at least one pair of lands (3a, 3b) comprising metal films formed on the top surface of the insulating film (2); external-connection terminals (4a, 4b) comprising metal films formed on the bottom surface of the insulating film (2), opposite the lands (3a, 3b) in one-to-one correspondence; through-conductors (7a, 7b) that connect corresponding lands (3a, 3b) and terminals (4a, 4b) to each other through the insulating film (2); and a light-emitting element (10) that is electrically connected to the pair of lands (3a, 3b) and mounted in a unit section that contains the pair of lands (3a, 3b).
