Abstract:
For the purpose of efficiently preventing oxidation of quantum dots in a light emitting device that comprises the quantum dots, the present invention provides a light emitting device (2) which is provided with a light emitting element (P) that comprises a first electrode (6), a second electrode (18) and a quantum dot layer (12) that is arranged between the first electrode (6) and the second electrode (18), and which is configured such that quantum dots (20), each comprising a core (22), a shell (24) that covers the core (22), and a ligand (26) that is coordinated to the surface of the shell (24) and has antioxidant properties, are stacked in the quantum dot layer (12).
