Abstract:
Disclosed is a light emitting device which includes: a translucent cover which includes a pair of side walls; a heat dissipating member, which includes a pair of outer surfaces disposed between the inner surfaces of the pair of side walls of the cover, and a fin disposed between the pair of outer surfaces; a light emitting element, which is supported by the heat dissipating member and housed in the cover; a protruding section; and a recessed section. The protruding section is disposed on the inner surface of the cover or the outer surface of the heat dissipating member. The recessed section is disposed on the other inner surface of the cover or the outer surface of the heat dissipating member, and the recessed section extends in the longitudinal direction of the cover and has the protruding section fitted therein.
