Abstract:
A light-emitting device having improved heat dissipation characteristics and reliability.
A light-emitting device is provided with: a light-emitting element; a metallic frame provided with a first frame section and a second frame section, which are electrically insulated from each other, and having the light-emitting element mounted on the first frame section; and a reflecting frame disposed on the frame and provided with a frame-like reflecting surface for surrounding the light-emitting element. Either a recess or a protrusion is formed on the frame, the other is formed on the reflecting frame, and the protrusion is inserted in the recess.
