When the color of light emitted from an LED chip (13b) has a strong tint of a color (A), the color of light emitted from an LED chip (13c) has substantially equivalent tint strengths of the color (A) and a color (B), and the color of light emitted from an LED chip (13a) has a slightly stronger color (A) tint than color (B) tint, the LED chips (13a, 13c) are supplied with the following from respective nozzles: a wavelength-conversion material (15a) containing a fluorescent substance for absorbing the wavelength of the color (A) and wavelength-converting the same into the color (C), a complementary color thereof (or a different color); and a wavelength-conversion material (15b) containing a fluorescent substance for absorbing the wavelength of the color (C) and wavelength-converting the same into the color (A). Therefore, it is possible to achieve the target light-emission color for the color of the light emitted from each wavelength-conversion unit (14a-14c), by changing the balance of the amounts of the supplied wavelength-conversion materials (15a, 15b), according to differences in the balance of strength between the color (A) tint and the color (B) tint in the LED chips (13a, 13c).
