Abstract:
Provided is a light emitting device, for a display or the like, that has a function for preventing insects from being attracted thereto. A display device (1) has disposed at at least a portion of the edge of a light emitting surface thereof a low-attraction section to which insects are unlikely to be attracted. The low-attraction section comprises an optical characteristic inclination section at which at least one type of optical characteristic gradually changes from the inward side towards the outward side of the light emitting surface.
