Abstract:
This light-emitting device (1) is provided with the following: a substrate (2); a wiring pattern (3), electrode lands (4), a sealant-resin layer (5), wires (7), and a resin dam (9) laid out on top of the substrate (2); at least one light-emitting element (6) that emits light having a peak emission wavelength in the wavelength range from 430 nm to 480 nm; green phosphors (10) that are excited by the primary light emitted by the light-emitting element (6) and emit light having a peak emission wavelength in the green region; and first red phosphors (11) that are excited by the primary light and emit light having a peak emission wavelength in the red region. The first red phosphors (11) do not emit light in the wavelength region that extends from 700 nm on up and do not absorb light in the wavelength region from 550 nm to 600 nm.
