Abstract:
One embodiment relates to a light emitting device, a method for manufacturing the light emitting device, a light emitting device package, and a lighting system. The light emitting device, according to the one embodiment, comprises:
a first conductive semiconductor layer; an active layer (12) including, on the first conductive semiconductor layer, a quantum well (12w) of which the composition is InxGa1-xN(0〈x〈1) and a quantum wall (12b) of which the composition is InyGa1-yN(0≤y〈1); and a second conductive semiconductor layer (13) on the active layer, wherein the active layer (12) comprises: a first quantum well (12w1) on the first conductive semiconductor layer (11); a first quantum wall (12b1) on the first quantum well (12w1); a second quantum well (12w2) on the first quantum wall (12b1); and a second quantum wall (12b2) on the second quantum well (12w2). The composition of indium in the first quantum wall (12b1) gradually increases in the direction of the second quantum well (12w2) and the maximum composition of indium in the first quantum wall (12b1) can be lower than the composition of indium in the second quantum well (12w2).
