Abstract:

This light emitting device (10) is provided with a surface light emitting part (21), a substrate (31), a holding sheet (41) and a sealing sheet (46). The surface light emitting part (21) comprises a light emitting surface (21a) and a non-light-emitting surface (21b), and emits light from the light emitting surface (21a). The substrate (31) comprises a mounting surface (31a) and a non-mounting surface (31b) that is provided on the same plane as the light emitting surface (21a), and a power supply (32) is mounted on the mounting surface (31a). The holding sheet (41) is provided so as to face the non-mounting surface (31b) and the light emitting surface (21a), which is provided on the same plane as the non-mounting surface (31b). The sealing sheet (46) is arranged on the opposite side of the holding sheet (41) with respect to the surface light emitting part (21) and the substrate (31) so as to cover the surface light emitting part (21) and the power supply (32). This light emitting device (10) is installed such that the holding sheet (41) is on the installation surface (52) side. Due to the above-described configuration, this light emitting device is able to be stably installed on the installation surface.
