Abstract:

Provided is a light-emitting device whereof the axial luminosity is high, and wherein uneven irradiation does not occur readily. The light-emitting device comprises: a base board; a circular resin frame fixed on the base board; a first plurality of LED elements mounted into a grid form in a square center region provided at the center of a region on the base board surrounded by the resin frame; a second to fifth plurality of LED elements, each connected in parallel to the first plurality of LED elements and mounted in the respective outer peripheral regions on the base board, which are in the four directions from the center region and delimited by the resin frame and each of the edges of the center region; and a seal resin sealing the first to the fifth plurality of LED elements into a single body.
