Abstract:
A light-emitting device 1 is provided with: a solid-state light-emitting element 10 for emitting a laser light L; and a wavelength conversion body 50 containing a plurality of types of fluorescent materials that receive the laser light L to emit light. The fluorescent materials contained in the wavelength conversion body 50 consist essentially of a Ce3+-activated fluorescent material. The output light of the light-emitting device 1 has light components over the wavelength range of at least 420 nm or more to less than 700 nm. This light-emitting device 1 can emit light having high color rendering properties over a wide wavelength range.
