Abstract:
A light emitting diode drive apparatus (50) is provided with a rectifying circuit (1), a switching element (5), a choke coil (3), an output current detection circuit (7), an LED light source (2), a rectifying diode (4), a control circuit (6), and a feedback detection circuit (8), which is connected for the purpose of receiving output feedback signals outputted from the output current detection circuit (7). The feedback detection circuit (8) outputs feedback dummy signals, and outputs to the control circuit (6) signals for controlling switching of the switching element (5) corresponding to signals based on errors between the output feedback signals and the feedback dummy signals.
