A light-emitting diode panel (1a) for in-screen optical fingerprint recognition: using directional light provided by a light-emitting diode (22) by using a manner of total reflection within a light guide substrate (12) so as to sense a fingerprint that is pressed on a fingerprint receiving area, and converting an optical signal into an electrical signal by means of a light sensing element (16) so as to distinguish the characteristics of the fingerprint. Since the light-emitting diode is directly used as a light source, and a photodiode may be used as a light sensing element and be integrated in a light shielding layer area of the light-emitting diode panel, the goal of integrating a light sensing element may be achieved without increasing the area of a substrate; in addition, since almost the entire surface of the light guide substrate may be provided as an area for fingerprint touching, the convenience of use is improved. Since the light path of the directional light may be adjusted by means of a specific optical microstructure before entering the light sensing element, the influence of the direct light or strong light in an environment may be minimized during general use so as to ensure the accuracy of fingerprint recognition.
