Abstract:
A composition useful in the manufacture of a light-emitting element with excellent luminous efficacy, and a light-emitting element containing said composition are provided.　This light-emitting element is provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an organic layer which is disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and which contains a light-emitting element composition. The light-emitting element composition contains a metal complex represented by formula (2) and a compound (B) which has a fused heterocyclic skeleton (b) that, in the ring，has a boron atom and at least one item selected from the group consisting of an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a selenium atom, an sp3 carbon atom and a nitrogen atom.
