Abstract:
These light-emitting elements (6R, 6G, 6B) each comprise: a first electrode (8) which is a positive electrode; a second electrode (18) which is a negative electrode; a light-emitting layer (14); a first insulator (20); and a third electrode (28). The light-emitting layer is located between the first electrode and the second electrode, and the first insulator is located, with respect to the light-emitting layer, on a first side surface (14SA) of the light-emitting layer. The third electrode is located in the first insulator so as to sandwich a first portion (22) of the first insulator with the first side surface of the light-emitting layer.
