Abstract:
Provided are a light emitting element capable of maintaining high fluorescent strength over a long period, and a fluorescent light source device. The light emitting element according to the present invention comprises: a substrate; a reflection layer including a material containing Ag or Al and formed on the upper layer of the substrate; a diffusion-preventing layer composed of a layer, at least part of which is crystallized, and formed so as to contact with a surface of the reflection layer on the side opposite to the substrate; a reflection-enhancing layer formed so as to contact with a surface of the diffusion-preventing layer on the side opposite to the substrate; and a phosphor layer formed on the upper layer of the reflection-enhancing layer.
