Abstract:

A light-emitting element comprises: a substrate; a plurality of protrusion patterns protruding from the substrate; a first semiconductor layer disposed on the substrate; an active layer disposed on the semiconductor layer; and a second semiconductor layer disposed on the active layer, wherein each of the protrusion patterns comprises: a first layer which is integrally and inseparably formed with the substrate and protrudes from the upper surface of the base substrate; and a second layer disposed on the first layer and made of a material different from that of the first layer.
