Abstract:
A light-emitting element (1) includes: a first nanoparticle layer that includes first nanoparticles and is between an anode (11) and a cathode (15); and a second nanoparticle layer that includes second nanoparticles and is disposed in contact with the first nanoparticle layer. The light-emitting element (1) has, at the interface between the first nanoparticle layer and the second nanoparticle layer, a ligand (21) that includes a first coordinating functional group for coordinating the first nanoparticles and a second coordinating functional group for coordinating the second nanoparticles.
