Abstract:
A light emitting indicator providing a uniform emission of light from a light emitting surface and an enhanced commercial value, comprising an indicator body (1) of a light transmitting material for forming an indicating unit (emission surface) (2), a light shielding cover (10) opened at the rear portion for covering the turning center region (R) of the indicator body (1) and a cover member (12) for covering the rear portion of the same turning center region (R), wherein the indicator body (1) has in its turning center region (R) reflection portions (4 to 7) for reflecting a lighting light from behind toward an edge side and the cover member has an exposing portion (123) for exposing the reflection portions (4 to 7) of the indicator body (1) and is made of a light transmitting material capable of controlling the amount of transmitted lighting light.
