Abstract:
The present invention provides a light-emitting material, and an organic electroluminescent element using said light-emitting material and having high light-emission efficiency and a long lifespan. These are a light-emitting material represented by general formula (1), and an organic electroluminescent element containing this light-emitting material in a light-emitting layer. (Here, A1 is CR1, C or N, ring E is a heterocyclic ring represented by formula (1a), and X1 is a group represented by O, S, Se, or N-L1-(Ar1)e, etc. a, b, c, and d represent 0 or 1, but a + b + c + d = 1 will never be established when R1 or L1 does not form a condensed ring with an adjacent aromatic ring.)
