Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a light-emitting medium that is difficult to counterfeit and can easily and quickly judge whether or not securities, etc., have been counterfeited. [Solution] A light-emitting medium (10) with a light-emitting image (12). The light-emitting image (12) comprises: a pattern region (20) formed on top of a substrate (11) using a first fluorescent ink (13) that includes a first fluorescent material; a background region (25) formed on top of the substrate (11), so as to be adjacent to the pattern region (20), using a second fluorescent ink (14) that includes a second fluorescent material; and an overcoat layer (30) formed on top of the first fluorescent material in the pattern region (20) and the second fluorescent material in the background region (25). The first fluorescent material comprises a fluorescent material that emits blue light when irradiated by UV-A and emits red light when irradiated by UV-C. The second fluorescent material comprises a fluorescent material that emits a light that is visible as a light the same color as blue light or red light when irradiated by UV-A and emits a green light when irradiated by UV-C.
