Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a light-emitting member which has a maximum-emission wavelength in a near-infrared region and provides excellent emission intensity and emission lifetime; and a biological authentication device, a wrist-band type electronic apparatus, and a biological measurement device which are provided with the light-emitting member. The light-emitting member of the present invention emits near-infrared light, and is provided with an area light source which emits at least red light, and a wavelength conversion film which converts visible light of the area light source into near-infrared light. The light-emitting member is characterized in that a maximum-emission wavelength is in a wavelength region of 700 to 1500 nm.
