Abstract:
The present invention relates to a light-field camera-based depth estimating method and system and a portable terminal, the depth estimating method comprising: acquiring four-dimensional light-field data captured by a light-field camera; decoding the four-dimensional light-field data to acquire light-field images; acquiring a light-field re-focusing sequence by using a re-focusing algorithm; establishing an index image and an index table for the re-focusing sequence; looking up the index table to acquire alpha values corresponding to pixel points; and acquiring the depth of an object according to an object-image relationship. Further provided in the present invention are a depth estimating system of a light-field camera and a portable terminal. Using the depth estimating method and system and portable terminal of the present invention has the advantages of a simple depth estimation algorithm, small burden on a processor and high precision of acquired depth images.
